I built Librarian as a private working library for lawyers and researchers who need to read closely and keep track of their sources. It imports PDFs into a browsable catalog, searches inside the books, and takes a result back to the exact source page. The reader includes page thumbnails, page navigation, and a saved reading position. A separate comparison view puts extracted text beside the preserved PDF, so readers can inspect the original before using a passage. I kept unknown publication details explicit and distinguished a search match from a verified quotation. The interface pairs a book catalog with focused reading and research workspaces.
